    Just getting into golf again, its been years. I have 99.9% decided to go with the new 716AP1 irons and a Scotty putter. I have an appointment set for Titleist Thursdays and just wanted to get some advice. I pretty much shoot right around 100 per game. On most holes I putt for par or boggy but its always a 3 putt and jack up my round. My question is do they fit you for each of the clubs? I am thinking 4-pw? Also is there any putter fitting or not really? Sorry a bit of a newbie.

    Depending on your time commitment and ...age, 3 irons are often hard to hit. I don't know if they carry all the iron heads for a full fitting, but you will have several shaft options for at least a 6 or 7 iron. You can also try hybrids to see if you can smash these in the 21-24 degree range (3-4 iron replacements). You might need to schedule a full fitting to determine if and where hybrids fit your game. There are lots of 3 and 4 irons on ebay that came with 8 club sets.
    If you are over 40 putting strokes a game, you need to find a pro to see if it is your mechanics or the putter's. A SC with the wrong balance or length won't improve that.
