I'm in the market for a new driver. I was fitted a few years back for my 714 ap1 irons and I love them. I noticed that the Titleist Thursday event is coming NH on the 18th. So I'm asking a few silly questions. My question is it worth going to the event on Thursday? Do they sell the clubs right there? And can they check you're other titleist equipment and make adjustments there?

  2. I am going next month. There is a video on there website that explains it but my understanding is yes you get fitted and can order your clubs right there. I do not think you walk away with them on the spot though.

Curious about this as well. I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to take my current gear or what. All the information I've gotten is to be there 15 minutes early for warm-up.
  4. Hi Justin,

Titleist Thursday's are a national initiative focused on providing expert fitting to players of all level while allowing you the opportunity to demo clubs and have your questions answered. Here is a link with a video to further explain these great events: www.titleist.com/thursdays

The Titleist Thursday host facility will be able to place an order for your clubs that day. Fittings are primarily focused on new product, but we feel it is always important to revisit your current setup to ensure what your playing is the best for your game.

Yes it's worth it, absolutely! Titleist has folks there who have tons of experience doing the fittings. They'll take their time working with you using a trackman or flightscope equipment but also watching your swing, your ballfight, etc. etc. Do it. Book it, it's worth it. Been there done that.

By all means go to the fitting. I went on the first Thursday offered when they were in my area. Primarily looking to get fitted for new irons. He spent 45 minutes with me working on right shafts and irons. The new AP1s are an awesome set and I really appreciate the opportunity. Yes, my scores are dropping. Have cut three strokes off my handicap so far and increased my confidence level. Thanks Titleist.

I am kicking myself for missing an opportunity to take part in the Titleist Thursdays while they were at Independence GC in Richmond, VA. Unfortunately I just couldn't seem to make it fit with my schedule. I hope they continue this in the future.

Do the fitting! You will definitely benefit. You can walk-up and hit clubs, like a demo. Make an appointment instead and get fitted. See Chris T's comment, above, regarding getting product and checking your existing equipment.

I went yesterday and learned so much, including why my driver's shaft no longer works for me; wish I had purchased the 913 instead of mine. It is great to have a highly-qualified pro/club fitter's attention for 45 minutes (and TrackMan time) for free! Brian is great!!! Looking to trade my driver and purchase the 915D2 set up I tested.

Yesterday, I traded my driver for a 915D2! Looking forward to many more fairways hit. Also looking to test irons at this Thursday's event.

Is it worth going if you don't have an appointment?

Yes! You can hit product, like at a demo day.

At last week's event, the fitter answered questions in between appointments and watched people hit a few shots.
