    What is the difference between the Xp90 shaft and the kbstour90 shaft . Also is the color the only difference in the tour velvet red grip and the gp tout velvet 360 grip. Any idea why the salesman at Golfsmith would change my shaft to the kbstour 90 when I only tried the xp90?

    You should go back and recheck. The KBS 90 is mid-launch, mid-spin, and the XP-90 is high launch/high spin. The site may not have had the KBS-90 for fitting but the fitter may have felt you had too much launch/spin.

    The KBS Tour 90 has a little lower launch if I remember correctly. I think the XP 90 is high launch, and the KBS Tour 90's are mid to high launch.

    I bought a used 5 iron for my AP1 set and it had a KBS shaft. It looked really cool but I had trouble with distance with it. It does flight lower for me at least. I replaced it with the XP90 and haven't regretted it. It's longer and more accurate for me.
