Lie Adjustment 714 AP2

    I recently bought 714 AP2 and need to have the lie adjusted to 4 deg up (67 on a 7 iron.). Local shop said they cannot bend past 2 degree up. Is it possible to do? Does it have to be done by you?

    Hi Rob,

    We manufacture AP1, AP2, and T-MB heads at standard and 2 degree upright lie angles. By doing so we are able to offer a lie angle range of +4 to -2, but we would not endorse bending any club more than two degrees from its original forged lie angle. By going beyond two degrees you risk crimping the chrome and breaking the hosel. If you need 4 up you will want to find a set of irons that was built with 2 up heads.
