  1. Hey guys, so I just got my 716 AP2 and LOVE them. I have the 4-W. I need some help figuring out which grind to use, but also what lofts. Right now I have the W which is 50 deg, and then a 56 and a 60. I love to hit the ball high and have it check up nicely. I also want versatility around the greens (again, high shots), but I also want to hit the low checker when I need to. Do you guys have a certain grind that would be perfect for me? I also take medium to big divots. And also, what wedge gap do I need? Thanks!

I would suggest checking out a Titleist Thursday and making an appointment or seeing a certified Titleist fitter as that would be the best way for you to find out what wedges would fit you best!

I would strongly suggest that you find a Titleist fitter in your local area and go out and try the different grinds...you may also need to change the shafts you are playing in the wedges (i.e. KBS will launch higher than DG's).
  4. Match the shafts in your wedges to your irons, it will help with your gapping especially from PW to GW. Try them all from good and bad lies, it will be clear what works. If you play on a firm course or have to play from hard packed (especially wet) sand then you might need a low bounce option. If it's soft all the time and you may be a "digger" by your description so it may just be mid to high bounce all the way through depending on your technique. You must try before you buy, the difference between the right and wrong grind is massive. Its worth going on a launch monitor for your gapping as well.

I here you with 716 AP2, just got them myself.

Like many guys here, I've also gone and made a Titleist Thursday schedule and got my recommended grinds and lofts combination from a Titleist professional fitter. It is a cool experience without any cost.

Titleist offers a great support and gives it back to us, and the public. it's there for the taking- take advantage of it while it lasts.
