  1. I recently was fitted at a Titleist fitting day and got some great feedback but doing more DD. Currently I’m using AP2’s 712 with dynamic stiff shafts (S300). I definitely was fitting incorrectly as I’ve never been a hard or fast swinger. I had a bigger build (225lbs) but now slimmed down to 185lbs. Good news right? Not really. I have no distance and the clubs are too heavy. I’ve never gotten much distance out of these clubs even when bigger and stronger. Swing speed is 8MPH lower than average amateur 71 vs. 79 per trackman (8 or 7 iron). Was a 7 Hcp trending to 11. So, here’s what I’m thinking about based on the fitting:  AP1’S 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Kurgo Kage 65-R( -2) o Is this too light going from AP’2 S300? Is Kurgo Kage 85 a better fit? I went online and noticed KK65 was not available for Vokey wedges  Vokey wedges 46-08*F, 50-08*F o Is there to much gap between AP’1 9 and 46-08F*, Order a strong 46/50 F?  I have Vokey SM4 56-08, 60-7 (S200) Like them! Is SM4 60-7 same as SM6 60-4 L? Looks as it has less bounce and maybe better in tighter lies. My 60-7 tends bounce in tight lies and I was looking for something to nip & pinch in tight lies and heavy rough. Worth getting them re shafted to KK65/85?  Is it worth getting A/P’2 re shafted?

I apologize for all the data but want to get this right and looking for feedback. I was fitted incorrectly on two occasions (Not from Titleist employees but PGA professionals) I know you can’t make a recommendation off an email but looking for feedback

The KK85 is not just a 20g heavier shaft than the 65. It is a mid-launch as opposed to a high launch. You can also look at the 95 NP-950 or TT-95 in steel for a high launch shaft heavier than the 65 g KK/GD/Recoil graphites. You really need to try them. The AP1 does not offer a weight advantage over the AP2. If you have any issues with off-center hits, it is certainly more forgiving and may provide more distance. Titleist will make any wedge with any iron shaft. I do use the 714 AP1 PW (47 degrees) with the KK-85 R-flex, SM6 52K and an SM5 56/8 (w. The wedges have the XP-95g R flex. I had the 712 AP1s in the 65 A-flex and I really prefer the metal shafts for wedges. My fitter now has a Trackman and I'm going to re-evaluate the KK-85 shafts. I trust him but will want to try the Recoil 65 or the NP 950 shafts. Depending on the results, if there is a difference, I'll look at reshafting or swapping to the 916s. Equipment isn't cheap and you can custom order anything and many of the shafts are the same price as the "stock" items.
