I was never sure how much impact the adjustable hosel had. I was looking for a little more distance and moved the setting from +.75 loft to +1.5 loft and + .75 lie. Started hitting low duck hooks and was wondering if I had developed the "driver yips". Under exasperation, went back to the old setting and got more launch and less dispersion. So can't wait to move from the 913 to the 917 to allow the MOI adjustment along with the active channel. Anyone not satisfied with their driver should get checked to see if there is that perfect setting that is not A1.

D2 setting on my 913D2 was like a revelation. Hitting better with less fade and even the occasional draw.

I added more loft (going from a 9.5 to an 11.00) and opened the face and am making every effort not to over swing the club. Hitting the ball higher has helped gain a few yards and have manageable accuracy. Guess we all have are remedies. At 70, if I can keep it around 250, I will be a happy camper. From the senior tees, it gives me the opportunity to keep up with the young guys.

I am glad I got fit with the East Coast Titleist travel van fitters. They made sure that I was set up correctly. I trusted them and have excellent results when I hit it solidly.

I completely agree! For the longest time I thought the hozel adjustments were voodoo. I had a set of 910 hybrids in my bag for the longest time that I would snap hook consistently. I had ZERO confidence hitting them. My fitter took my clubs, adjusted them and said, "here, now try".

The difference was amazing. I started hitting them dead straight or even with a slight fade.

Never again will I trust club fitting to the big box stores. Go see a certified Titleist fitter. You won't be sorry!
