Comparable shaft to Diamana Kai'li for Titleist 65

    Last time I was fitted for a 910 D2 8.5 degree with a Mitsubishi Rayon Kai'li 65 S for Titleist. I'm looking to upgrade and was wondering what would be comparable to this setup.

    I can't find the specs on that shaft anywhere but I remember that it's a softer shaft with a higher torque. Don't remember the launch or tip firmness.

    Should I look for a higher torque shaft? Something around 3.8 - 4.2? What about launch and tip firmness. I've made some slight swing changes and I find that lately I lose this club left (as if the there's too much torque or the tip is too soft). Would love some insights.

    My suggestion is to work with a Titleist fitter. It's the only way to know you are getting the correct shaft for your swing.

    Titleist offers a wide variety of shafts (check out the Custom Options booklet link below), so by working with a fitter, you can certainly find the correct shaft.
    Also, if you go to the Mitsubishi website (mrc-golf.com), you can find the specs for your current shaft.

    You don't say if your swing has changed since then, longer, faster etc etc.

    Here you go. I have a love affair with my Ka'li from my 910D2 as well, but I have a serious side thing going with my Diamana Blue S+ 60 S in my 915F.

    Highly reccomend that shaft. I can crush my 3W off the tee and it goes straight like a rocket, no baby fade or anything. Feels just like the Ka'li, but you don"t get that give/kick at impact. That was the only thing that scared me sometimes was that little bit of give right as you make contact with the ball.

    I moved into S+ (blue shafts). You'll need to get fit to see if the S+ in a stiffer flex or the D+ would be a better starting point. And then there are the options beyond the S+/D+ base shafts.

    See a Titleist club fitter and try the Graphite Design Tour AD DI-6s shaft. You might be pleasantly surprised.

    Fantastic feedback from everyone. Obviously there's no substitute for going to see a fitter. Will definitely look at the DM on a blue as well as the graphite design shaft. Thanks for all the feedback

    Just changed out my rogue shafts for the blue boards and loving the flight.
