    Team Titleist,

I've just bought a new Graphite Design Tour AD-DI stiff shaft for my 913F. The shaft isn't fitted with an adapter or grip. I'm competent enough to fit a new grip but unfortunately I don't have the tools to remove adapter (installed on current shaft) and fit to new shaft. Can I send the shaft to Titleist and have them remove adapter and install on new shaft? I'm going to attend a Titleist club fitting day at Redbourne Golf Club next week, is this something that can be done on a fitting day.

    Many thanks

    Matt

    Matthew,
Before going to the fitting day, give the course a call and see if they do club repairs. If they do, then you should be able to have the adapter removed from your old shaft and installed on the new, along with a grip (it will take some time to complete the swap). If they don't, then they may be able to recommend a repair shop or person to do the job.

This definitely can't be done on a fitting day. I'm not sure how Titleist feels about fitting adapters to shafts that they have not supplied. I would guess from seeing requests like this in the past that they would not do it. They would have sold you, through an authorized retailer, that same shaft with the adapter already on it though.

Thanks for the replies fella's, I had guessed that this might be a a long shot. I will search out the local repair pro shot and see if that can help.
