  1. Hi. I'm long and need my Clubs long. I read that Titleist dont "allow" you to order your clubs longer than 2 inches.. more than standard. I would like my wedges and PW some longer then that. I have a couple of questions: I if order my wedges 3 inch longer then standard, will Titleist make that or will they say no..? I understand swing weight might change but will that really have that big an impact on how the clubs will work, on clubs that are not really that long..? Thank you for Your answer and thoughts. Kristian

I'm sure one of the staff members will answer. But I am curious why you think you need 3" long. That's a huge jump. I'm 6'5" and only play 1/2 to 1" depending on the OEM. I have a friend who is 6'9" plays Div 1 basketball and only has his 1.5 inches over.

Were you fit by certified fitter?

    Dear Kristian F:

    Thank you for your question.

Swingweight and quality control are the main reasons for the maximum 2" long from standard policy.

Every +1/2" from standard you add, the club's swingweight by 3 points. Adding 2" inches to a 56° wedge would make the wedge play around F0, which is a very high swingweight but within our allowable specs. Because of this, anything beyond 2" would be a very unbalanced club and may result performance characteristics that are not optimal.

The maximum length Titleist will build irons and wedges would be +2" from standard.

I hope this helps, and thank you for contacting Team Titleist
