    Hello, I am ordering clubs this fall and I don't know what shafts I want to put in them. Currently I am playing XP 115 s300 shafts and I hit them very high. I'm looking to lower my trajectory so I'm not just hitting a high blooper all of the time. My 150 yard club is a 9 iron and I was curious if I switch to Dynamic Gold tour issue x100 iron shafts if that would be a logical idea or would that bring down my ball flight too much

    Just meet up with a professional fitter! He can show you the right shaft for the new clubhead! Everything else is nonsense

    The only correct way for you to get an answer is to go get fit. Going any other direction is just guessing.

    The XP series shafts are high ball flight shafts. If you want lower flight look for Dynamic Gold Pro, Dynamic Gold AMT, KBS C Taper, Project X 6.0

    I'm with the others... go get fit. REALLY FIT... not at one of the big box stores. I went to a regional fitting center last fall to get fit for 916's. Best decision I've ever made. Playing the most consistent golf of my life and with the lowest handicap.
