  1. Hi guys. I'm thinking about picking up a 917 F2 this fall, but I'm not sure what shaft would fit me. I have a graphite design Tour DI-7 stiff flex in my driver, and love it. I've always had a hard time getting high enough launch in fairway woods. I'm currently playing a 913 fd 18 degree with the rip phenom 80 stiff. I would like to get the 16.5 degree head in the new one. Any thoughts on something that might feel similar to the DI7 but would launch it higher? I've always used 80 gram or heavier shafts in fairways. I'dbeup for trying something in the 70 gram range, but have always disliked the feel of lighter shafts. Any advice would be appreciated.

The only advice I could give you would be is to go to a Titleist Thursday fitting. They will set you up with the right combination. Understand that the new Fijukura stock shaft has a high launch.

I had a similar problem, so I put an Aldila Rogue Silver (can never go wrong with an Aldila and Titleist combo) shaft in my 915F. The shaft was tour issue, but it seriously made the 915F my most favorite club in my bag.
