  1. I am looking forward to trading my 915 D4 for the new 917 but when I look online there are so many choices of shafts that I cannot begin to choose. Please advise me.

    Thank you.

Best advice....set up a fitting appt. with a qualified Titleist fitter in your area. It's the only way to know that the head/shaft combo are matched to your swing. Anything else is just guessing and will probably not produce the results you want.

There is another thread that only D2/D3s are available right now - all the 915 D4 pro's are using one or the other. Then there is that new COG weight in the base of the head. The best option is to get fit. Having been fit for various clubs twice in the last 2 weeks, I can't imagine not going to an outdoor center with a Trackman. I gained a few yards with the fitter trying a shaft after watching my current driver and he then got me up to 20 yards more by the end of the fitting with the 917 D2.

Simple answer...you need to be properly fit. It is very possible that the shaft you are currently playing will work well with the 917!! I tried shafts but the shaft from my 910 is what I am gaming in my 915!!

When I went to the 913 from the 910, I just kept the 910 shaft. I suppose you could do the same thing from 915 to 917. The best answer, however, is to get fit.

I was planning to drop the Rogue in the 917. My fitter put me in the Fuji, which is much heavier. Works wonderful, for me. A good fitter makes all the difference......
