I got fitted for the 917 driver by Joey Saewitz in San Diego and learned a lot about what I don't know about shaft fitting. I had an excellent experience and will be ordering a new club from my Pro Shop. What I learned tells me I need to go to Carlsbad and go through the fitting process for a complete bag of clubs. Thanks again for the help with my game.

The shaft is the engine that drives the club. Fittings are a very important process in getting new clubs. EVERYONE should be properly fit. =)
  3. Dennis, great to hear about your experience. The Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside (near Carlsbad) is an incredible day you will want to experience at least once in your lifetime!

Trust me , I know. I put the Rogue Max on my driver and gained 14 yards carry. I have to go back and do the 917 again. My #'s were so hot, I almost don't believe them.....LOL

I took a demo out to play 917 D3 9.5 Fujikura Speeder Pro 74, what a great combo, I thought the shaft might be too heavy at 78g for my age, however it felt amazing. The other added benefit is that I only had 1 left miss with this combo, I have been struggling with the lefts most of the year. The Speeder Pro is the real deal!
