Hard stepping

    Anyone have any experience hard stepping modus3 tour 120 shafts? Have them in my 716 cbs. Plan on making switch to AP2s because of the increased ball speed/tighter flight. Do not know if I should stick with the tour 120s or back to Kbs tour. Love the dispersion of modus3 shaft. Only thing I don't like is when I try to flight them down (especially in 8-PW) compared to Kbs tours they feel inconsistent. Thought about hard stepping entire set or just 8-PW. Could always go back to KBS? Handicap is +1.8, driver is around 110 mph.

    Christopher- Are you using S flex? Reason is, my understanding is soft stepping is usually recommended as opposed to hard stepping, though I don't know why specifically. Might be the specific weight vs flex... Anyway, I have similar ss (108-113 with driver) and the modus3 tour 120x soft stepped once is just smooth as silk for me, but with great control from the tip still bend profile. Love Nippon and run the 125 wedge shafts in all three of my vokeys as well.
