I purchased two 915H with the S+ 70 shafts in them because I have always played a shaft about this profile. Well I got driver fit Saturday and the fitter recommended the whiteboard in my driver and fairway. He mentioned Id see a benefit in my hybrids as well. My question is to you guys is there enough difference in the shafts to tell honestly? I hit my hybrids for accuracy and not distance. I had bounced around putting a steel shaft in to try and curious what you guys thought of that.

  2. Yes there is a difference in the shafts, I would consider a second opinion with another fitter to confirm.

Sounds like the recommendation is a "maybe", not a yes, we saw a benefit. After what I ended up in a 917 fitting, which is not what one would picture me using, I won't be buying a shaft that wasn't fit or at least trialed.

If you were recommended the Whiteboard (D+ similar profile), a heavier weight S+ might work for the hybrid. I initially played the D+ 60 driver shaft and have the S+ 90 in my 18* hybrid - it's been a very good fit for me.
