    looking for the best shaft for the 917 and head combo played titleist drivers forever but was not thrilled with the 915 after giving up my 913 and switched to other brand but still play my ap2 716s and scotty putter swing speed is 103/105 want a niece high penetrating ball flight

    I have a couple friends who are right around that swing speed and they have found the Rouge Max works really well and gives them a good launch.

    Of course if it's possible to get to a Titleist Thursday or certified Titleist fitter, that will give you the best option of finding the right combo.

    Moving from a 913 to the 917, what I found is what worked in the 913 wasn't the best for me with the 917. Everyone one that I have talked to has gained more by getting optimized by a good fitter. The Rogue is a good start but be sure before ordering.

    SS 100 mph - I play the 716 AP2 (AMT S300) w/ H1 19* hybrid (Diamana D+ 90) I have been a long time D3 model player, however this year I switched to the 917 D2 9.5* w/ Fujikura Speeder Pro TS 74 shaft. During my fitting we set the club to the C1 setting w/weight in toe and I achieved - 14* launch / 2200 spin. I would recommend getting fitted on launch monitor, but this combo was excellent for me.
