    Folks, I have a 913 driver w a RIP Alpha 60 gram shaft... I have been told by fitters i have too much spin of the tee and hence despite high swing speed, i only drive around 225-235 yards.

    I was thinking of upgrading to the new 917 driver, but i am a bit hesitant to get the 917d3 bec i prefer the look of the 917d2. Any thoughts ?

    Secondly, as far as custom shafts go, can anyone give me some ideas on the differences between the Project X Hazardus Black, Fujikura 63 Tour Spec, Graphite Design GP6 and AD-GTA ? I want to get the right shaft for me...

    Set up a fitting with a Titleist fitter to find out what head/shaft combo is best for your swing.
    As for the shafts, you can look at the specs of each (if they are available as a custom option) in the Custom Options booklet. You can also use the Shaft Performance guide to compare all the shafts against each other. Granted, these resources can't give you real user reviews, but they are a great place to start.

    I spin off the driver could be your attack angle into the ball. "to steep"
