Adding weight to woods/hybrid

    Just bought the 917 Driver D2, 917 F2 15 degree, and 816 H2 21 degree. What will adding extra weight 2 or 4 grams do to performance or feel characteristics? Change swing weight? Enhanced feel of head?

    In general, you gain 1 point of swingweight for each gram you add. I like a heavier club, while others do not. There is a lot of personal preference with total weight and swingweight. You best bet would be to get to a fitter and see what the different feels are at different swingweights. Take a look at the monitor numbers too, they will complete the story.
