On November 15th I had a great experience getting a wedge fitting with Fitting Expert Glen Mahler. I was selected to participate in a Titleist Video Shoot at TPI in Oceanside. They video taped me getting fit for wedges with Glen. I can't say enough about the experience. I learned so much about my wedge game. Glen took me thru yardage gaps, bounce and lie angles. While my yardage gaps were good, I learned so much about utilizing the bounce of my wedges and using the trailing edge of the wedge. It allowed me to swing with so much more speed and hit nice high wedge shots that would stop with spin and consistent distance. Out of the bunker I was hitting great shots (no more digging in with the leading edge). The video of my experience might be on the golf channel's Fitters Forum. I hope I wasn't too much of a dud on camera and they actually use some of my footage. Either way it was an amazing experience and opened my eyes to what a fitting with an expert like Glen can do for my game! Now I just have to figure out how to get back there and get a full bag fitting.
