    I met with the Product Specialist and Fitter in this area for a Titleist Thursday fitting two Thursday's ago and we settled on a good match of a 816h1 17* head with a Aldila Black Rogue 85h1 stiff 88grm 2.8 torque mid launch shaft. We tried the Fijukura Speeder Shaft and the new M*AX shaft and the Rogue produced the high tight flight we were looking for and lower spin. I placed my order today and hopefully it will be hear before Christmas. It appears, according to the computer, all the components are in stock. Add one GolfPride MCC plus 4 Midsize Grip and I am ready to go. A special thanks to Titleist for adding the 17* to the line recently. I am replacing my 915h (18) 17.25* because the 816h1 is ten yards longer.

    I already have the 816h1 set at 20* and love it and that is one of the main reasons I decided to go with the 17*. Just needed to decide on the shaft and like the extra yardage. Finally have my yardages dialed in. Driver to wedges. Am using the Aldila Black Rogue on my Driver, and new Hybrid and may put one on my 816h1 20*. Will test my current Speeder Tour 8.8 against the Black Rogue in that head over the holidays. At my age (70) I can hit those hybrids past most guys the same age drives. Only fairway metal I carry is the new 917f 15* and it is a monster with the M*AX shaft stiff.

    Nice job Chuck. I've had my eye on one of those or a 917 5W Haven't decided yet which way to go.
