  1. I'm planning on getting a set of AP1s. My main concern is the xp 90 shafts are high launch, and I hit it reasonably high with my current set using DG S300 shafts. I want a lighter shaft and the benefits of the AP1 forgiveness and distance. Are the XP 105 shafts extremely high launching? I wouldn't mind it in the long irons, mostly concerned about 8-P going too high.

The XP 105 shaft is mid launch - mid spin. You might want to look through the available iron shafts in the Custom Options booklet as a start and then work with a qualified Titleist fitter to find the correct shaft for you.

When I was fit I had the same problem they put me in the AP1 with a KBS shaft that has worked well for me. Helped keep my flight down

I tried the KBS and the XP shafts during my fitting and they were similar and I settled on XP 105 S300. My fitter was comfortable with the results and the feel, I liked it. I was playing XP 95 S300 shafts and we lowered the flight pattern. But do recommend seeing a fitter.
