    I've just booked a club fitting for a new driver to replace my 909. I'm really looking forward to seeing how much the 917 can help my game. Got to wait until 13th February but I've no doubt it'll be worth it.

    With the right shaft, think you notice a big difference in club performance.

    The 917 fixed a lot of my faults with a much improved/larger sweet spot. With more confidence, I can swing a little harder. So I'm not just happy moving from a 913 - got 20 more yards with a great deal of consistency. Ecstatic would be a better term. Good luck with your results.

    I moved forward from 915 D2/10.5° to 917 D2/9.5° and found an improvement in distance, spin rate and dispersion. Enjoy the fitting experience!

    You are absolutely doing the right thing. You should see a vast improvement over the 909, which was a great club in it's time. As others have stated, getting the right shaft is essential. I am assuming you are going to a certified Titleist fitter. Good luck and enjoy the experience.
