    Hi there,

I had a quest question regarding a shaft fitting for my 716 TMB 2 Iron. I was wondering if the Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 105X shaft will fit it or if that shaft is strictly for hybrids.

    Thanks

I'm not sure about the AD-DI 105X shaft but Graphite Design released a Tour AD Utility/Driving Iron shaft last year. Although the heaviest shaft is the TOUR AD DRIVING IRON 95g.

I purchased one during the Black Friday sale a golf shop had and sent them my 716 TMB 2 Iron to have it installed but it got lost in the mail (that was around December 3rd) and I'm still waiting on the shop to send me a new club.

    Hi Ryan,

I would consider the Titleist 716 T-MB a driving iron/hybrid. I believe the club uses "hybrid" shafts, so the tips are usually a bit bigger.

To answer your question, yes it should fit. Jordan Speith uses the same shaft in is 3-iron T-MB (3-Iron: Titleist 716 T-MB (Graphite Design Tour AD DI 105 X shaft)).

LOVE Graphite Design Tour AD-DI!!! I play 60g stiff in my 915d3. It should be a great combination. I would play a slightly lighter shaft for the 2 Iron.

I just played my NEW 716 T-MB 4 iron today, Mitsubishi Kuro Kage TiNi 85gram....lazers...the 4 iron is my longest iron, I play a 20 degree hybrid.
