Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 8.2 Tour Spec x-stiff shaft - Have Fujikura discontinued it?

    Today I was custom fit for a new 917f3 3 wood 15 degree. After trying out numerous shaft options the most consistent was Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 8.2 Tour Spec x-stiff which has a significant exotic uplift charge.

    I have now tried to look at the specifications on the Fujikura website but it doesn't look like it is in their current range.

    Why would Titleist charge so much for what appears to be a discontinued shaft.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Russell, I spoke with Chad over at Fujikura and that shaft was never listed in their catalog because it was really geared to a very small percentage of high speed players that needed lower spin. They are continuing to support that shaft and we offer it because it fits a percentage of our Titleist players (as you have noted).
