Titleist Adjustable Tip "knock-off"?

    I had a driver shaft fit with a Titleist adjustable tip from a well known golf shop in our area. But in comparing the tip to the other tips on my drivers it is different in length and the numbers/letters are not painted white. My question is if the tip has changed in length or did the fitter just put on a "knock-off"?

    hard to tell. do you have a picture of it? was it done at a shop that sells titleist products? i would think they have some in stock. at least hope they used an authentic one.

    I would think it may be a non-Titleist product. Titleist does not make just the adapter available to any golf shop. The only ways I know to get one are either by sending your club/shaft back to Titleist or from the Tour Van.
