Hi, I have a quick question. What is the difference between going to a demo day vs. the Titleist Thursday and fitting days? Thanks.

I did a driver and fairway metal fitting at a Titleist Thursday last fall and had access to the full line of irons and metals. No Vokeys or putters but everything else (including Trackman). A full-blown demo day might have a greater quantity of clubs, but I really liked the Thursday opportunity. Don't forget that you can make an appointment at most or all of them and the fitter will be ready for you when you walk on the tee.

Demo day is open to the public. Titleist Thursday you get 1 on 1 time during a scheduled time and actual specs to order.
  4. Quick answer, demo days is so you can get your hands on the new goodies, and hit a few balls, talk to the staff. Titleist Thursdays is more formal you really should make a reservation via Titleist's website for the event nearest to you, each time slot is about 1/2 hour, and they work with trackman have you hit different shafts, different heads talking hybrids and woods, thorough but nothing like a true full blown fitting. Hope this helps

IMO and experience, it's tough getting fitted on a demo day with so many people coming and going and the staff trying to help everyone. It's best to go to a Thursday fitting b/c you'll get the one on one with a Titleist fitter for 30 or 45 minutes. I think it's 45 minutes.

Go here and select Thursday Fitting and then make an appointment. I believe it will ask you what you want to get fitted for. FYI, they don't do Scotty putters.

    Good luck!

I have been to both. A Demo Day is where you walk up to the guy and he shows you what clubs are available to hit. Usually he is busy with several people all attracted to the Titleist logo and the clubs. You try the clubs you can find available. The Fitting requires an appointment. You get one on one attention. You hit a club with different shafts and heads. They track your shot trajectory and spin with each type of shaft and head you try. Good feed back. They give you what set up gives you the most distance and lowest ball rpm.

Alright thanks, I appreciate the feedback I'm going to schedule a fitting and maybe I'll still go the demo day also.
