  1. Considering a set of AP1's with Kuro Kage L shafts. I was playing cally APEX Irons with Recoil Seniors but suffered a serious left shoulder injury 1 year ago. After a shoulder replacement I am looking for a little softer shaft. I have replaced my woods with Silver Tni 50 Kuro Kage Shafts and that has worked out well. How does the Iron KK compare with the Recoil Iron on stiffness.

    Thanks

Hi Mary, The Recoil 760's in an F2 flex (senior) weighed 68 grams and were more of a mid -mid high flight shaft. The Kuro Kage L flex shafts are 52 gram shafts with a high ball flight and spin. You may also want to try the Recoil 65 which weighs 63 gr in the F2 flex or a KK 65 that weighs 61 grams in an A flex. Both have a high ball flight and mid-high spin and are lighter than your 760 shafts. Keep in mind that there is no industry standard for flex so A flexes are not equivalent across brands or even within a brand. If you need the name of a good fitter in your area or your fitter needs to borrow these shafts, please call us at 888-TITLEIST and we would be happy to assist.
