What is the best setting for someone who FADES the ball, to keep it in play on dogleg and straight holes?

    Lester,

Honestly, there isn't one setting which will work for everyone. I can not under state the importance of a proper fitting from a certified Titleist club fitter. They will get you setup. A lesson can also help with that fade...

    Best regards,

I never noticed this until the other day when I was messing around with my shafts to see which one works best for me (after many swing changes recently). Wghile I do agree that a proper fitting is key, when it copmes down to fine tuning, that isn't something you're going to go see a fitter for usually.

    The little booklet says this:

"Start in the standard position: A•1 (RH) or D•4 (LH).
Move up or down in the grid to adjust trajectory.
Move left or right in the grid to fine tune direction."

I did that and found the best setting for me, and then went shaft to shaft to compare. I did do it all on a launch monitor, but you could do the sale at a range easily if you do what it says.

    Best of luck!

  4. I agree with the fitting Ben suggests. I am a fitter for Titleist and see many different reasons for adjusting the SureFit hosel, and some that don't need any adjustments. As B.A states, the book says move left and right which adjusts your lie angle. If you have never been properly fit you might benefit from having clubs that are a little more upright for you. The surfeit cg weight will be another thing the fitter will work on with you as putting in the draw weight will help correct some fade. But all of this is worthless unless you know what needs to be done, which a fitter will help you get straightened out. Come to a local Titleist thursday or look for a fitting day near you.
