Bucket list, Getting custom fit, tee to green, at the Manchester Lane Test Facility

    So on July 13th I will be able to check off a box on my bucket list. I have a 9am appointment to get a tee to green fitting at the Manchester Lane Test Facility! I know it is 3 months away but you can not get the grin off my face. I am looking forward to the entire process. If anyone has experienced this fitting before please share your stories, tips, advice, etc...

    Hey Luke!!

    I went last year and it was an amazing experience.. I did the iron, hybrid and wedge fitting.

    A few tips; when you get there, you'll be going through a neighborhood, trust me you're going the right way. Don't get there too early, they won't let you through. I got there about 10 minutes early and had to wait by the security gate but didn't mind at all, was able to view the area and it's beautiful. And lastly and probably the best advice i was given, go with an open mind... I had Chris O'Rourke as my fitter and he was amazing..

    I have to say the wedge fitting was my favorite.. Could spend all day there...

    Oh, when you're hitting irons look to the far back, you'll see another tee box. Ask them about it.. It's a pretty cool story and amazing...

    It's July, so it shouldn't be much of a problem - but a whole bag will be 3 hours. Make sure you are in your best shape. The hardest part is finding Manchester Lane so allow yourself time to get there a few minutes early. The guards are pleasant if they have to hold you. Then enjoy the ride once they get your bag out of your car. You are treated as if you were Steve Stricker or Adam Scott. And since they do fit those guys - let them fit you and don't even look at the shaft or head. They do it right.
