for gapping purposes your describing this usually is a problem between fairway metals, hybrids etc... however you will far more options for fitting at a Manchester Lane or Oceanside to work on this issue if needed.

An advance fitting center is better than nothing, but a fitting at Manchester Ln. is like a visit to Mecca. (Full disclosure I've never been to Oceanside), but Manchester Ln. is the bees knees.
They have everything. Literally everything Titleist sells. Their range balls are fresh out of the box pro V1 or pro V1Xs. The range is all grass and way nicer than your own course's fairways. They have all the numbers, trackman and technology that you would want, and their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.
They also have a short game/ 100 and in area that's just ridiculous. On top of that they hook you up with some swag and you get to see some R&D stuff and take a little tour.
If you can get to MA and are willing to make the investment, the Ln. is second to none.
I hear Oceanside is as nice or nicer if you're on the left coast.

I finally found the cost for fittings at Manchester Lane but my question is are you required to make a purchase at the time of the fitting??

Hi Corey, Here is some of the details on Manchester Lane (as well as O'side).

We offer three separate fittings:  Driver/Fairway, Hybrid/Irons and a Wedge fit that can be done individually or all together. Each fitting takes about an hour (or 3 hrs for the bag, minus putter).  When the fitting is complete, we will email all the details of the fit to you and your pro (if you wish) and you can order your clubs at whatever shop that you choose.  The fitting fee is a fitting fee only and does not go toward the purchase of clubs.  Oceanside fits Monday through Friday at 9am or 1pm.  Manchester Lane fits most weekdays at 9:30am and 1:30pm, but it varies as they are primarily a Tour and research facility. The cost is $250 per fitting or $600 for all three and you can reserve your fitting appointment by contacting Andy at 1-888-262-7202.
