816H1 Adapter

    I recently purchased a new Diamana Tensei shaft for my 816 H1 21*. In an effort to compare it to my current Fujikura VC 8.8, I need an additional adapter to do so. I would like to know if they are available to purchase through Titleist without having to find an aftermarket one online. Thanks again.

    Titleist does not sell the adapters. They are only available with a full shaft order. The aftermarkets currently do not adjust a full degree like the Titleist ones designed for the 816 hybrids. That's not a recommendation that they are as good as the adapters for the 913/915 hybrids. Just that the +/- full degree is still exclusive on Titleist-delivered shafts.

    Sorry, but you are out of luck. Titleist does not sell the shaft adapter. As that shaft is not listed on the "menu" of shafts that are offered, I don't even think you would be able to send it to Titleist to have the adapter installed. Your best bet is to find someone with a broken shaft and pull the adapter from it.

    I called Titleist. I could take it to my local store and have it sent in to have a tip installed. I chose to send the shaft back after hitting a couple Aldila shafts in the 816 that I can order from Titleist. Silver lining I guess.
