So I had my Titleist Thursday fitting session yesterday at The Quarry with Brian Coe. This is the second time I've had the opportunity to work with Brian and it was awesome (just like the first time)! I think most of us go into fitting sessions with a bit of a preconceived idea of what we want/are looking for, at least I know I do. Like the first time I worked with Brian, he took the time to ask me lots of questions and gave me detailed answers to my questions. I was specifically looking at the 716 AP1s and was able to try multiple shafts in different weights to see which best suited my swing. I was a bit surprised by the results, but as everyone says...numbers don't lie. During the session, we also talked about being able to apply my numbers from yesterday to the new irons which come out this fall. As I expected, Brian told me that every new set is just different enough that if I was going to wait to purchase the new irons this fall that I would need to come back and go through the process again. Now I just need to decide...buy now or buy later.
Any TT'ers in the metro St Louis area that are thinking about new clubs should definitely take advantage of the Titleist Thursday events at The Quarry. It's a great experience working with Brian Coe!
