I am so pumped for my fitting at the end of the summer and to hopefully get my golf game back on track. I decided to take the rest of the season off and work on my swing with my instructor and my physical well being in preparation for the fitting. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia almost 2 years ago and my game has really suffered especially my club head speed and distance.
A professional fitting, outside on Trackman in real conditions with ProV1's is the way to go I think. I want to know how to properly gap my bag such as do I carry 3 hybrids and start my iron set at the 6 iron or do I carry 4 wedges instead (I really want to see which grind works best for me)...you get the idea!
I need to check my ego at the gate and let a Professional tell me what I need instead of what I think I need which has been my biggest problem!
If anyone has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and still plays golf, let me know if you have any tips/suggestions on how to deal with it.
