Graphite Iron Shafts

    I am 53 yrs old and tend to hurt in the elbow and shoulders now. I am looking at going to graphite shafts in my irons to reduce shock. What shaft would be comparable to the Dynamic Gold S300 shaft?

    Have you checked with a fitter? That would be my recommendation. I asked a Titleist fitter about going to graphite shafts and he still has me in a lighter steel (xp105). I will be 71 in a few weeks. I have two bad rotator cuffs and feel no pain.

    I have Project X 4.5 light in my irons and still have the Dynamic Gold S300 in my wedges. I am 70 and also have had arthroscopic surgery in my right shoulder 2 years ago.

    I would suggest getting fit from a certified Titleist fitter. You may want to look into the Recoil 95 F4. They are by far one of the best graphite shafts in the market today!

    Have had great luck with Recoil shafts. I am 50 and they are easier on the old bones.

    Have 780 in stiff in my C16's. 110 stiff in my CB's. 780's launch higher than the 110's

    ....I made that move in 2015 and it has made a world of difference! A certified Titleist fitter got me on the right path and I switched from my AP1 steel shaft 710 irons to graphite 714 irons. I had pain in my elbows and shoulders and when I switched to graphite shafts the pain was gone.. I'm 61 and can play as many days as I can in a row....the only clubs in my bag with a steel shaft is my lob wedge and putter.
