Shaft Length

    I'm interested to know that if a regular shaft has been lengthened by 1/2 inch more than standard and then 3/4 inch is cut off to make the shaft 1/4 in shorter than standard will it make the shaft stiffer.

    I play my 913 at 44 1/2. Shaft is matrix 5×3 firm. I tipped 1/2 inch then added 1/2 to butt. It did stiffen and lowered ball fight which is what I wanted.
