It would be tight. Titleist needs 4-5 business days to assemble. Overnight shipping may not be too expensive to the Bay Area from Carlsbad. You can check with Premier fitters in the Bay Area to see if they'll reduce - delete the fitting cost if a new set is ordered. If the timing works, a Titleist Thursday would be n/c fitting and the local club could order.
All bets would be off if a component was OOStock.

I think it's going to depend on what you get fit for. I "custom" ordered my 716 AP2 a year ago, only custom thing was a midsize grip but everything else was standard, and I ordered with the no upcharge PX LZ. I had them within two days of the order shipped to my store in Seal Beach CA. So, if you don't need a lot of customization, it is possible to get them fairly quickly. If you have more going on then I am sure it could take a little longer for L/L/L adjustments and custom shafts.
