does someone know the effect on swing weight by shortening an iron shaft -0,25 inch. actual swing weight is D1. thank you for help

Hi Stefan, Shortening your shaft by 1/4" will reduce the swingweight approximately 1-1.5 swingweights depending on the balance of the shaft cut. We have found in our testing that not too many players can tell the difference in 1 swingweight. Grips work the same way - approximately 4-5 grams of grip weight will also change a swingweight 1 swingweight depending on the balance of weight along that grip (length of grip and where the weight of that grip is balanced)
