The white shaft would not only be heavier but have a slightly higher flex point that the red, thus a more boring trajectory. I would suggest you do another fitting and tell your fitter what you are trying to accomplish (higher ball flight). You will reach a point where higher trajectory will cost you distance but the trade off should be your choice based on info you give your fitter. White will also generally give you tighter dispersion so again, trade offs on what you need most for your specific game. Hope this helps.

Did you try both? The White may be higher than your previous setup, and may have a launch that works with your swing for good results. In my case, I went from the 65 g graphite in the 716 to the AMT-Red - about 30 g heavier. But it was a better launch for my swing than the Tensi-Red graphite. Lighter/higher launch is not always longer. If you didn't try the Red, you should confirm the White is better. If you did both, I'd probably trust the fitting.

The only Dynamic Gold True Temper AMT is the Tour edition and it is low trajectory and is listed under their a "classic" list of shafts i.e. they are an older model. The AMT white is also low trajectory so doesn't sound to be what you want, however, not impossible that it might give you the height you desire. The AMT Black is medium trajectory and the AMT Red is high trajectory- I would suspect that one or the other would be a good fit for you. The AMT Black is Ascending weight through the set and the AMT Red is constant weighting 4 - 7 and ascending weight for the balance of the set. I would have thought the red would be higher also.
Did you compair the two in the fitting? And what kind of simulator we're u on?
Some simulators show the perfect ball flight on any shot.. I might double check the fitting before dropping the cash.
