10.5 Driver, 7 wood (21), 5H (27), 7, 9, 50, 58 and putter.

58-10S or 58-08M or take a 60-12K and bend to 58.

The below picture is my bag. You can also replace the 9 iron with a 46-08 bent to 44. Leave the 50* stock and the 58* stock (58-08M or 58-10S). Obviously a 64 degree wedge is just dressing. Changing the 24 and 31 to a 910H 27 is good. You can use an 8 iron bent to 36* A 21 fairway is pretty much essential. You can also use a 3 wood instead of a driver. Or you could use a 19 fairway only. So driver-7W-5H-8iron-46-50-58 and putter = 8 clubs. I played with 3-4 woods, 3-5-7-9-dual wedge and putter for 8 years.

Welcome as a fellow minimalist. I put together a purposefully built 7 club bag last year. Did not go through a professional fitting, but know my specs and gaps very well. Ordered a custom set of 716 AP2 irons # 5, 7, 9 to go along with a 917F2, 816H1, Vokey wedge and Scotty putter. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Thank you! How did you set up the gaps in your fairway, hybrid and wedges? And do you miss the driver? I have been debating on driver or fairway as my longest club.

I would think that the fitting and orderwhat you want is the way to go. The fitting will give you an idea of the yardages you would be hitting and allow you to adjust lofts as needed.

That is the beauty of Titleist, you can order individual irons. So you will be able to build a set of whatever irons you need. You could go as far as getting one of each model: T-MB, MB, CB, AP2, AP3 and an AP1 if that is what you determined works for you.

Chris and his team at Eagles Nest will definitely guide you in the right direction. If you tell him what you would like to achieve, he will get you there. I have been fit by Chris on 4 separate occasions and have always walked away with what works best for me and with more knowledge and insight as to why put together what he did. Now I am playing a split set of AP2's 7-W, AP3's 4-6. Enjoy the experience.
