    Are there different gram weight heads available in 718 AP1 to achieve a D2 swing weight with 1/2" long KBS tour shaft?

    Yes.

    I ordered my AP1's at +1/2" and was able to acheive a lower swingweight with the "light" head option. The shaft weight will determine the final outcome though...

    The KBS our shaft varies in weight depending upon the flex- as per Chris the lighter weight head would be an option- whether it would be enough will depend upon the actual weight of your shaft- you may also have to look at a heavier weight grip to achieve D-2.

    Hi Steve, Chris is right. Assuming your lie angle is standard or upright, we can use a lighter head to achieve a D2 swingweight with a 1/2" over KBS Tour shaft and stock grip with standard wraps.  Your pro would have to specify that on the order so that the correct heads could be used.

    Thanks for the help. I got fit and ordered AP1 with the kbs tour shaft at D2 swing weight, 1/2" long and 2* up. Can't wait till they come in. Thanks again!
