Why not just get C-Taper Lite X-flex in your wedges as well? Or if you want heavy go for regular c-taper

The last time I spoke with Bob Vokey about this he said dont go more stiff at most just use the same shafts as in your irons. He would prefer a softer option or even a little heavier... Good Luck!

For what it’s worth, when I was fit, it was suggested that I have the same shafts in my wedges as my irons. So, I have DG x100 from my 4-9 irons and 46, 50, 54 & 58 Vokey’s.

I went with the same shaft as my irons. Works well.

Mr. Vokey usually recommends a shaft a bit softer than you use in your irons. The standard wedge shaft is an S200.

From personal experience, as well as being a common recommendation at custom fittings here in the U.K. You should play a slightly softer flex in your wedges, than what you play in your irons, it aids feel in your wedge play.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Dynamic Gold S300 in irons, S200 in wedges

Dynamic Gold X100 in irons, S400 in wedges

Project X 7.0 in irons, 6.5 in wedges

Project X 6.0 in irons, 5.5 in wedges

That being said, it is all down to personal preference, you could always just play the same shafts as in your irons.
