The Diamana Ltd White 80X in my 915F 3 wood is a little lower spinning/launching than I'd like, so I'm thinking of putting it in my 915F 5 wood. Should I tip it any more to account for the 5 wood's heavier head weight? The shaft is a stock order from you guys.

Also, I picked up a Diamana B Series 80X as a replacement for my 3 wood. How much should I tip it to play to flex?

I wouldn't tip either of them as if they are X they are playing to them unless you want it stiffer?

If stiff shafts are tipped to play to flex, shouldnt x-stiff shafts be the same? Obviously x-stiff shafts have a stiffer tip section, but the BBTG measurement is still going to be greater than a traditional standard bore head.

As for my question about converting the 3 wood head to a 5 wood, tipping an additional 0.5” or something to account for the heavier head seems like standard practice, though Titleist has said previously that they don’t recommend tipping for some shafts which is why I’m asking.
