A putter studio will monitor your swing motion and check your path. This will help determine if your putter needs to be face balanced or small or large amount of toe flow. Likely they will give you some advise if your tempo is not consistent. They can adjust your lie for your setup and then determine if your loft provides optimal forward roll motion w/o hopping. It's not just taking a few strokes to see if you can hit the hole from 10 feet. I was in an electronic harness with strobe cameras capturing all the data. Lots of WOW factor.
