Hi New member so please be gentle . I have returned to golf after 5 year absence . I was avid 4 handicapper and played a lot . Long story short my 2 boys are now looking to play and I have no clubs and don't want to spend a huge amount on new sticks . I have option to buy a used set of AP2s which are a bit of a change from previous 690mbs dg s300. I was fitted for these at 0.25 longer and 2degrees upright , not a big change from standard . Only issue is AP2s are shorter than standard and flat plus XP95s s300 . So as a purely casual golfer looking to keep costs down what are implications of lengthening shafts by 0.5 inch to ball flight , shaft whip etc ?
