Trying to determine the standard shaft length for a 816 H2 23 degree Hybrid. I know the specs state the standard club length is 39.5 in. but not sure if the shaft length is the same as club length or if the club head adds to tom make the club length longer than the shaft the length.

39.5” is the standard length that includes the head and grip. I just measured mine and it’s 39.5”.

Can you measure the length of the shaft (adapter to end of grip) outside of the club? I seen a variety of used shafts, with adapter and grip, advertised at various lengths from 38.25" to 40" and trying to get exact specs for the shaft outside the club. I think the club head may add 1/4 - 1/2 "s to the club length.
    Thanks

The 913 and beyond have a shorter adapter vs the 910. For a 23, it should be about 39" shaft length.

I think that makes sense. The overall standard club length is supposed to be 39.5" and it looks like the club head will add about 1/2 inch to the overall length, indicating a 39" shaft (adapter tip to end of grip) Having the same conversation with Titleist Support but they may not be deep enough in the weeds to know and aren't asking the right people to get me a solid answer.

Lou G - Is that the Chicago Bears Logo on your head covers? Pappa George would be proud.

The shaft is 39” from the end of the grip to the end of the shaft without the head. I have the 23 degree 816 with the motore shaft, 39.5” with the head on like I stated above.

Thanks. That’s what everything is pointing to. Surprised that the Titleist support team couldn’t confirm that for me.
