Dont see any tour player with the Plus4 MCC Grips only the regular MCC. Have the regular MCC on all my Titleict clubs since years and regripped them again with the regular MCC. Have tried a Plus4 on a friends driver months ago and did not feel a difference. I it just a marketing hype vom GolfPride. What is your opinion.

I have played MCC midsize for years. Love them. I used to play them on all my clubs. I regrip at least 3 or 4 times a season with my wedges, short irons and driver. Usually twice a season for other clubs. I tried the MCC+4 on various friends' clubs and could definitely feel the difference. It's not simply just marketing.

Recently I experimented with the MCC+4 concept by building up the bottom half of a regular MCC with 3 extra wraps on the low end (right hand area) on my driver, 3W and 19* hybrid. I thought using a regular sized grip might give me a touch more speed with those clubs, as opposed to the heftier midsize version I play on everythoing else. When I tape up the shaft as stated, I am creating a quasi-MCC+4 feel. Maybe it's in my head, but I feel like I have better control with my steering hand and more whip action with my upper hand for my woods and hybrid. On the other hand, since I'm not looking as much for distance as I am control on my wedges and irons, I will stick with the plain MCC in midsize. That feels best to me. And most comfortable, having played that grip for so long.

Especially on cooler days (occupational hazard in Wisconsin) I appreciate the larger lower hand grip when my fingers aren't as flexible (pushing age 70). So it may not be important to anyone that has never adjusted the number of wraps but I could never get multiple lower wraps with Wnn-Grips, the 4+ solves that for me. I love having choices, just like using an amber urethane ball. I can follow and find these easier.

I'm a big fan of the MCC Plus4 in Midsize. I can definitely feel a difference.
  5. I can feel a difference. This will be my 3rd year and second set of MCC(MCC can last me about 2 years when cleaning them properly). I have tried the MCC+4 and I can feel a big difference. The bottom of the grip is much softer and can feel it moving in my hand. Also, seem to have a more difficult time turning the club over, especially with my woods and longer irons it was much more of a fade ball flight for me.
