Not all (driver?) head speeds are the same 95 mph. Your swing may result in low to high launch and low to high spin, and there are a dozen or more shafts that can be matched to your particular swing. Not to mention most of the shafts are also available in 3 or 4 flexes. A good fitter can quickly narrow it down to 1-2 lofts, 2-3 shafts, and 1-2 flexes and then best match to your flight and distance expectations for the club. With all the no-upcharge shaft options and the price of a new club, getting fit is the best investment to have the right tool for the right job. "Stock/Rack" clubs will only be ideal for less that 20% of golfers. ...Or for a LH like myself at almost 70 - literally zero chance I can buy off the rack.
