The 0211 is the only one in the price range of the T100/T200/620 iron. It might be analogous to the T-300 but is more money. And if you do better with one of the other 2 choices, ...wow.. Good products but come with a luxury pricing model. I don't know the catalog for custom shafts (or pricing) but the options at n/c in Titleist are known. In the end, it all comes down to how confident you are with the product. If the feel and control with the luxury model is different enough to be worth it and you can afford it, go for it. Personally, I'm happy with my AP3's and would live in fear of not being 100% satisfied with the PXG and trying to beg forgiveness with my wife for telling her I made a $2000 mistake on irons.

Nick- just curious as to why you would make a comment that PXG is killing the sport?

Having been a loyal Titleist devotee forever, I had a momentary lapse in "good judgment" and purchased a set of PXG first generation irons that were fitted for me, close to $4500 with shaft upgrades. WORST irons that I ever played. Got rid of them mid-season last year and got fitted for AP3's and will never make the same mistake again!!!! Don't believe the hype like I did, stick with a true and tested leader in the world of irons and woods-Titleist!

If I understand your post correctly, your pro said use the PXG demo to find out what shafts and lie angles you would need and then apply that to new Titleist irons? Right? I would say that would be better than just guessing but probably not completely accurate. I would want to demo on the exact setup that I purchase. Especially since the five main Titleist iron models are so different and there are so many grind options on Vokey wedges.
