I had asked my fitter when i did my Titleist Thursday fitting and he had told me, no, cause i wasn’t sure either. He did mention if you could write a post whether positive or negative about the fitting/fitter would be nice.

No, but fellow posters with mediocre advise and stale humor do accept handouts whenever possible... mostly in the form of free beer.

I haven't and I haven't ever heard or thought about it. But I've been working with the same fitter/instructor for 8 years now. Tipping the newspaper delivery person every year at Christmas for a paper that barely makes it past the sidewalk (not cool on rainy days), I should consider some sort of acknowledgement for someone that has always had my best interest at heart. I wouldn't do it for someone for a one-time fitting.
